Plaid is the new Black
December 15, 2019
Oh what an honor was it to have met such a family. I was initially
somewhat worried because big families tend to be a little bit
chaotic. Kids are upset, parents are tired, there is usually at
least one person that is not on board for photos, but in this case
everyone was in such fun spirits. Either way I had some fun tricks
up my sleeve to make sure everyone was happy.
The session went on smoothly and we were so lucky to have had great
weather that day. You know Texas, one minute is freezing cold and
the next we are stripping off of our jackets because its hot and
sunny. Well, on that day it was a beautiful mid-October, autumn kind
of weather.
As we worked through the session, walking through the park, we had
some good conversations with each other. I was able to learn that
this family has Colombian roots and love a good soccer game. Mathew
and Diego both agree that their favorite brother is the littlest
one, Christian. Christian being only 3 months old was such a good
sport. Not a single cry the entire 2 hours!!! If you ask me I’ll
tell you he will make a very handsome model someday if he keeps up
the good attitude
As we approached the end of the session I told the kiddoes I had
chocolate chip cookies for them and you can imagine was a sweet
treat that was. At the end we all sat down together to enjoy some
cookies and continue with our chat.
I had no idea I was going to be able to share so many laughs and
even some personal stories with this family. Everyone was so
friendly not only to each other and to me but also to my husband,
who was there as always providing support and assisting me with
everything.
This was definitely a super fun session and I’m so glad I got to
meet them all. Hopefully they allow me to have the honor of creating
memories with them once again in the future.
Merry Christmas Villalba Family.
